( Miami, 1/11/2026).- President Donald Trump responded Sunday on Truth Social to a viral post suggesting Senator Marco Rubio could become “president of Cuba,” replying simply: “Sounds good to me.”
Rubio’s expanding portfolio within the Trump administration has become a running joke online, with users portraying him as the man in charge of nearly everything. Officially, he holds three titles: Secretary of State, National Security Advisor, and Acting Archivist of the United States.
Previously, Rubio also served as acting administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development, a role phased out in July when the agency’s remaining functions were absorbed into the State Department.
On social media platform X, a photo of Rubio at a White House meeting has sparked a viral “realizing” meme, with users humorously casting him as the administration’s all-purpose official. AI-generated images have amplified the trend, depicting Rubio in imagined roles ranging from the Shah of Iran and president of Venezuela to manager of Manchester United.
