MIAMI‑DADE (July 22, 2026) — The Miami‑Dade County Office of the Supervisor of Elections will conduct the Logic and Accuracy (L&A) Test of voting equipment and auditing systems on Wednesday, July 29, at 10 a.m. at Elections Headquarters, ahead of the upcoming Primary Election.
This is a critical step in ensuring every ballot is accurately counted and that the election is conducted with the highest levels of security, transparency, precision, and integrity.
The L&A Test is a standard pre‑election procedure designed to ensure that all voting and tabulation equipment is functioning correctly and recording votes as intended. During the test, Elections personnel will cast predetermined test ballots and verify that the machines accurately capture, tabulate, and report results. These outcomes are then reviewed against expected totals to confirm system reliability and performance.
The testing process is open to the public. Media representatives, candidates, political party officials, and interested residents are invited to attend and observe.
